New to Minecraft? If yes, then know that blast furnace is just like a regular furnace, but it is used to smelt only ore blocks and armor or tools made of iron, gold, or chain mail.
So, how to make a Blast Furnace in Minecraft?
It’s easy, to craft a blast furnace you will require following ingredients in exact those amounts:
5 Iron Ingot + 1 Furnace + 3 Smooth Stone
Once you have all the above items, with the help of the crafting table, you can arrange items as shown below in the image to get a blast furnace. A blast furnace can be utilized to smelt ore blocks faster than a regular furnace.
If you are not getting iron ingot, then you need to smelt iron ore in a regular furnace first. Initially you’ll get iron ores, and you need to smelt it to form iron ingots.
Similarly, smooth stone can be made on a regular furnace too, but in two steps. First burn the cobblestone to get stone, and burn stone again to get smooth stone. You will need more fuel to make all this, so better get some coal in advance.
If you are planning to smelt ore blocks in mass, better you utilize the blast one but like furnace it can not cook food.
TIP: Iron ore attempts to generate 20 times per chunk in blobs of size 0-13, from levels 0 to 63, in all biomes. To get more iron ores faster, you can start mining in ravine. Or simply dig down any land biome in stairs form to the 63 or below, then start mining for iron ores. This way you will get iron ores faster. Carry as much as torches you can for better visibility.
This is it, that’s how you can make blast furnace.
