It is common to experience higher electricity bill due to inverter, most of us often take inverters and UPS wrong that they save electricity, but the fact is inverter use more electricity energy as it is used.
So what is the expense one should bear with an inverter?
This totally depends upon the downtime and usages.
If you experience more downtime – it will lead to higher consumption of electricity. But when downtime is very limited or none, even then there will be small consumption to maintain the battery’s charging level.
Understand that installing an inverter is more of luxury as it enables us to use electricity while outage.
