Easter Sunday, Easter Day or Resurrection Sunday is one of the most crucial events among Christians all over the world. This day marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death. There are citations of it in the new testament. The manner of celebration varies depending on cultural and linguistic differences. Easter Eggs are widely associated with the day, which symbolizes empty tomb of Jesus in some cultures and blood of Jesus in some others.
The day is commemorated as a holiday in numerous parts of the world. Although the eastern and the western tradition follows a different yardstick, the day always concur. This day marks the win of love, faith, and goodness over repression and hatred.
This easter, Easter Sunday falls on a 27th March. Easter day is observed as a holiday in numerous Christian majority countries such as Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, United States etc. Government offices and schools are closed in countries where Sunday is a non-working day, and business activities are either limited, or non-existent.
